Let’s start with swimsuits. The first essential, right? As I mentioned, it can be tricky to find a great swimsuit in the middle of January. Luckily, I’ve scoped out the sites and found some new favorites from J. Crew and Summersalt!

My Cover-Up Favorites
After you choose the perfect swimsuit, it’s important to pack cover-ups! There are so many cute styles to choose from – whether you pair a crochet top with some wide-leg pants, or opt for a shirt dress to don over your swimsuit.
I also love a basic crochet cover-up – this one comes in black or tan! It’s hard to choose which one I love more.
Resort Daywear
When checking off your list of what to pack for a resort trip, don’t forget to include a few dresses and sets for other events besides lounging by the pool. This white set is so chic and perfect for a dinner out with your spouse or the girls.
Since you’re probably headed somewhere tropical on your trip, spring for some fun floral patterns! This jumpsuit is gorgeous and sleek – I love a good halter number! Or, choose this strapless dress, which pairs well under a jean jacket or a blazer! Don’t forget a solid pair of sandals to wear with everything.
